Leo & Randy On Best Teams

Leo is putting in the work toward publishing his new book. The content is driving deeper thoughts about our work together in groups and teams. During his workshops, Leo will often ask participants to talk about their memories and experiences with the best teams of their lives. Today we each answer that question and reflect on the lessons we learned.

Leo & Randy On Leo’s New Book

Leo has been working on a new book. Jeffrey Hayzlett of C-Suite Network has agreed to write the Foreword. Jeffrey appeared on the podcast back in April 2019. Thomas F. Anglero, the Director of Innovation for IBM Nordic, will write the Afterword.  Thomas also appeared on our podcast. Leo explains why they’re an ideal fit for these important parts of the book.

Leo shares what readers can expect from the new book, scheduled for release sometime late spring or early summer, 2020.

Leo & Randy On Truth To Power

Leo published an article at CEOWORLD last May (2019) about speaking truth to power. He approached it from the vantage point of both the leader (CEO) and those who report to the leader (employees).

Mark Twain said, “Never tell the truth to people who are not worthy of it.” However, Leo and Randy maintain we’re all worthy of it. Speaking the truth to power isn’t always easy, but there’s value in pursuing the ideal. Today, Leo and Randy discuss the main points of the CEOWorld article (see the links below).

Leo & Randy On Challenge (Season 2020, Episode 5)

“Don’t limit your challenges; challenge your limits.”   ― Jerry Dunn

Jerry Dunn was known as the “Marathon Man” because in the year 2000 he ran 200 marathons. His quote speaks to this episode of the What Anyone Can Do Podcast – the high value derived when others will caringly challenge us to help us achieve more. Specifically, sometimes it’s about helping people achieve exactly what they say they want. High-performing teams and groups are able to openly and safely challenge each other for ongoing improvement and growth.
